Duda. Ostap Kostyuk

Duda — folk musical instrument similar to bagpipes and made of goat leather with tubes inserted in it for air injection. It consist of bass tube and pipe tube (with holes), which play a tune.

Duda is well known in Carpathian area. Duda is using for support of song’s main theme in Eastern Ukraine, also it was part of orchestra in Zapozizka Sich army, even now it’s using on holidays of hutsuls. It’s often incrusted with embroidery knits.
