Ukrainian Traditional Ceramics & Pottery Art

Ceramics and pottery art is the most known phenomena of native habitants of Ukraine. They were of producing mostly domestic tableware such as bowls, plates, dzbanoks, kolachi, lanterns (candlesticks) and glazed tiles for stoves facing.

Painting of the ancient Kolomyia ceramics is peculiar for its stylish flower geometrical images which made by points, circles, circle wavy lines, meanders etc. Artists used two colored green brown range on white background and otherwise and technique of horn painting.
